definitely a good series...
dun think it resembles anything of the dbz series...even though its so far the most successful and has achieved the greatest popularity in japan since dragon ball z...
anyways it's gonna run for another 4 years...and since i'm too poor(yes...in the money sense...) to afford basic cable...i'll just be downloading the fansubbed episodes...but since it's at episode 130 now...one would expect it to get kinda repetitive in another four years...

Here's a review of Naruto. It's a series with ninjas designed for elementary schools children. I've seen a few episodes and didn't really care for it. It does however seem to have a number of fanatical fans, so liking it depends on whether you enjoy Dragonball-style shows.

Naruto is an awesome anime. Tis prolly my favorite. And fer you noobs, go to "Search for AMV's" and look up Naruto. So, if you haven't seen the show yet, you can see some AMVs that contain eps from it.
I can claim the title as being the first person on a-m-v.org to submit an AMV with the artist KJ-52 on it. Yay. Hahaha.

hmm...well like most long running animes they tend to lose thier shine but thats understandable as the series running that long can start losing the plot a little (eg. dragon ball Z ). you can split naruto up into about 3 parts now. there is the mad ass kewl stuff in da begining, the middle o-k bit, and now just outrageously stupid. in the first 30 eps the story line is great, the action is sick and it made me cry, the only time i have ever cried in an anime. the next 50 eps are mad with some cool battles but i think about ep 90 somthing it starts to get a bit repedative...u'll understand once you've watched all the eps untill now. too many flash baks....>_< i think from about ep 80 u should stop watchin and just read the manga. the manga seems to hold up a bit more in the action department and especially the art. i don't know what happened, i think they got a bit lazy, but the animations and art in the anime have just started gettin really mediocre compared to when if first started or even mid way through the series...well thats it from me, i could pobably say more but i cbb...=P best way to c how good it is is to watch it! =)
You don't know what you have until it's gone...

I remember when the Naruto licensing craze first began, and everyone was crying because they thought 4kids would get it. I remember writing a 4kids-Naruto fanfiction thing, starring Nathan the magical Ninja, who goes on a long journey with his friends Seth and Samantha and their teacher, professor Karate.

I'm 21 and I love the show! Maybe if you forced yourself to sit down and watch most of the eps you'll think different about it. A lot of Hayao Miyazaki's films are aimed at kids but does that stop you from enjoying it? Also in Japan the for kids shows are a lot different than the for kids shows here. I mean a lot of kids shows in Japan have sexual themes and blood, and it's a lot different here when it comes to content. Watch something like Narutaru and you'll be shocked it was on a kids station!Otohiko wrote:Naruto is, by and far, would be my dream show as a 14-year-old. Really, I think it kicks obscene amounts of ninja ass!

Unfortunately, I'm 21
Anyways I love the show naturally and I don't give into forced perceptions, or I don't get prepossessed about things. I look into it and make my own decision. People who shit talk the show generally haven't seen the show or haven't seen much of it....
