I had the WTF feeling after watching Yami to Boushi to Hon no Tabibito, the ending was just too weird for me.

Definitely Trigun. That was a very good series though.

NGE clearly leads though in the WTF category. There was a lot of events during the whole series that had me thinking WTF. It was awesome. The anime was far deeper than I have expected...even after ALL the hype around it.

I am impatiently waiting for WTF part 2 (aka End of Evangelion) to arrive so I can watch it and get more psychologically screwed. I was kind of saddened by the ending but the more I watched it the more it made me think it wasn't so bad. I need to watch it again. It's rare that I find an anime that invokes so much philosophical discussion.

((way offtopic, sorry for this) Try www.archonia.com. It's belgium based, but they ship to holland too. I got Dirty Pair Flash and Excel Saga from there.)

Back on track: Puni Puni Poemy made me go WTF on more than one occasion.

Alright, I promised I wouldn't get into this, but:

Perfect Blue - More mind warping and brain bending than most I've seen. REALLY makes you question which parts of the movie are real, and which parts are "scripted".

Millenium Actress - DARN YOU SATOSHI KON! In this one, the flashbacks often mesh with the present, so it gives you a sense of "WTF just happened? Where are we now?" Not as gritty or brain bending as Perfect Blue, but sometimes the transitions are just REALLY funny. :)

Akira - Drugs, psycho powers, and a really trippy ending. If you want sense, read the manga!

Ghost in the Shell - The movie had some real deep philosophical stuff that made you go WTF! However, the manga OUTDOES the movie's WTF factor by 100!

Adolescence of Utena - THE DAMN SERIES DOESN'T MAKE SENSE!! WTF!

Neon Genesis Evangelion - The Angels Attack Who In The What Now?

Irresponsible Captain Tylor - Often a "WTF just happened!" and a "WTF! What did Tylor do now?"

Excel Saga & Puni Puni Poemy - "I Feel Random! OHHHH So RANDOM!"

FLCL - "Dude, want some of this weed? It's like all WTF in the house, ya'know?"

Love Hina - "Mecha turtles and a guy that can survive stratospheric power punches BETTER than Ranma! WTF!?"

Urusei Yatsura - "WTF did Moroboshi do THIS time!?"

Animatrix - If it's got the guy behind Cowboy Bebop doing part of this, then this most definitly counts! Some of the shorts are REALLY trippy!

Robot Carnival - Lot of movies in this list! This one has some shorts that just make you go "Huh? WTF just happened!" right before the meaning hits you and then you go "AHHHHHHH! Those clever bastards!"

Elf Princess Rane (Fairy Princess Ren) - Oh man... an OAV with more "WTF is going on?" moments than most.

Otaku No Video - If you haven't seen this, WATCH IT! Lots of WTF going on here. Especially the LIVE interview segments, especially with American Missionary Hippy! :)

Animation Runner Kuromi - From the folks that brough us the Child's Toy anime and Jubei-chan, this has lots of "WTF" moments while also teaching how anime is made. Good stuff!

Child's Toy - One word: RITALIN!

Jubei-chan: Dude, this is messed up!

Project A-Ko (THE ORIGINAL!) - More anime parodies than you can shake a stick at. IF you can find them! ;)

Okay, that about wraps it up for me.

I just saw the end of Gundam SEED last night on Cartoon Network. That show had too much going on for it to end the way it did. It was a good show overall. Compared to Gundam Wing and G-Gundam, I'm a little disappointed in Gundm SEED, my most recent "WHAT THE FUCK!!!" feeling.
