there are 2
Ressurection is the directers cut of the last 4 eps if I remember. Genesis Reborn...I dunno I'll have to look that up, but I sure someone else already knows and will answer before I can.

FYI, the first two on the list are the Director's Cut versions of the TV Series, Episodes 21-23 and 24-26, respectively (which you can find on Evangelion Platinum, Volumes 6 and 7, as well).
Overall, all four DVDs are well worth seeing. You should watch them in this order:
- Death & Rebirth (Death is a good introduction to the entire Evangelion story, if you haven't seen it yet. Rebirth, however, is merely a fragment of the "fan-requested" Episode 25 you will see on End of Evangelion)
- NGE:Genesis Reborn (Episodes 24-26 of the Director's Cut)
- NGE:Ressurection (Episodes 24-26 of the Director's Cut)
- End of Evangelion (the "fan-requested" remakes of Episodes 25 and 26)

LOL! I'd be happy if Anno would give in just a little and give stronger hints (ok explicit scenes) that Shinji and Asuka could have a stable relationship.Kusoyaro wrote:Walking around aimlessly wouldn't be the most efficient way to start repopulating the worldreservoireddog wrote:Shinji and Auska just walking around aimlessly on a deserted planet trying to repopulate the world.
FWIW, I don't think they are alone in the world. Other souls that wished for individuality would also return, just not on the same beach unless Rei wanted to return and create a possible love triangle.
