Okay, I watched the first 4 episodes of gunparade march, and I'm really confused as to what the point of the series is. It doesn't seem to be focused on either the romance or the combat. Without spoiling the series for me,
does the series have an ending which ties everything into a unified whole? Or did the creator just not have a clear idea of what they wanted the series to be?

Having seen the entire series, the sad answer is that it starts as a mecha and ends as a standard high-school type romance. In other words, the latter case.sunandshadow wrote:Okay, I watched the first 4 episodes of gunparade march, and I'm really confused as to what the point of the series is. Interestingly though, the individual episodes suddenly get their act together around #8. What they should have done was started the series with some combat and episode 9 cut together, and then ended the series with episode 10 because it's a metaphor for the whole love and being an exhuberant teenager in spite of the war motif of the series.
