I'm keeping up with the manga, but I only download the few episodes that I want to see animated. I think the anime is just average, since the art seems to slack off often (though that's understandable) and there is A LOT of recapping in the series. I love the manga though. My art is starting to look a lot like Kishimoto's.

It's really, really cute that you think online petitions mean anything. Naive, but cute.
Lol I second that lol
I third that :)

Even if millions signed it, a petition wouldn't mean anything because companies paid quite a lot of money for a very promising show, and they won't settle for anything less than high returns.

And honestly, I think denying Naruto the popular and financial success it was made for and entirely deserves is just plain dumb...

Now I'm curious whether there's any plans for it on Canadian TV and such.
The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…

Well said there. Anyway, hearing about how some people tend to compare this series to DBZ, if there were comparisons, I'd say Naruto is DBZ with a lot more characterization and a lot more plot development. Loving the manga, and I'm 22. 8-)
Probably too busy to be here right now.

Yes, you are right, but seeing as you are just barely above Toonami's target audience age, and still below Adult Swim's, your argument doesn't have that big of an effect on people in their twenties.

That'll happen when the sky bleeds.

Its funny how people compare Dbz to Naruto with the huge diffrences. The stories are nothing alike. Also mos tof your forget that the only reason Dbz is hated at all is because the life was strangled out of it for like 4 years.Instead of waiting till it comes to cartoon network read the manga about fifty hundred sites have translated issue of Naruto.Of course the series is better but the Manga is more mature.

If you would like to give it more of a try then do so, and watch some more episodes. I'm glade you can judge a series based off 15 episodes, man you haven't even got to 19 or 20 yet.
Who said I had to like it? Most of the Naruto fans I've met prior to this. (Quick pullup of Gaim buddylist says... 19 out of 21 fans.) I don't log conversations, so I can't exactly pull up quotes.

Who said I had to see a hundred episodes to like it? Same as above.

And yes, I believe that I can judge a series off fifteen episodes. Fifteen episodes at about twenty minutes each would be three hundred minutes, or five hours. That's five hours I spent doing something that I did not enjoy, and frankly bored me. I apply the same standard to almost every series longer than thirteen episodes, in that if I don't even find one thing that interests me in those fifteen episodes (or thereabouts), I may as well give up.
Well be happy, your the first person out of 200 people I've met that don't like the first season of Naruto "sigh"

Try finishing the damn saga first before you go saying you don't like it. Saying a show is boring after 15 episodes might be okay for something like Fruits Basket that has 24 or 26, but Naruto has over 130 and is probably gonna go beyond 200. That means you barely watched 10% of the damn show!!

Some people say Naruto is starting to become stupid and repetitive or whatever. I think that it's not as good as the first season right now, but if you ask me, this is better than the damn chunnin exam. I hate when stories are based off tournament fights.

Others say "there's too many flashbacks..... ur duurrrr." Guess what flashbacks equal.........STORY!! That's exactly what DBZ didn't have!! I love the flashbacks cause they explain other stuff from the past or help develop the future!! It makes my tail twitch "...if I had one..." everytime Naruto remembers what Neji said: Naruto, you have better eyes than me.

Point is, you should at least finish the season before judging it. Tell me if you like it then. If not, then it's okay. It'll just be weird knowing that someone doesn't like the first saga of Naruto.

I think Naruto gets better the more it progresses honestly I don't see why most eveyrone like most episodes before Episode 80.I mean the early episodes and manga where good but the manga gets better and better sasuke and Naruto's fight was kickass. Now i'm waiting for Naruto,Sakura,Kakashi and Itachi fight to start.Btw i've read up to 257.I mean after Kakashi's flashback issues it took like 3 or 4 Issues to get back into the feel of Naruto but its gotten back to the good Naruto now and will again get better and better.

Mmmh, I prefer the manga to the series. Well, alright, the series is decent enough, even though I haven't seen *all* the episodes, but I can't stand the overload of flashbacks. They're interesting once or twice... after that, they're just being redundant, without adding anything to the current action or to the characters/general story. (There aren't so many in the manga, and it doesn't make it less interesting/meaningful or whatever.) This is just my opinion, though :)
