Suggested list of VAs for Naruto

I guess I should put this here since dcdeveloperx saw me post this at the Hypeodermic forums, and thought it was real Just to make it clear, this is my Dream Team of VAs, not an official list. The only name that's official on here is the one that's been confirmed, Kakashi being dubbed by Steve Blum/David Lucas (Spike, Mugen, Laughing Man, etc.)

I put together a list of VAs that I think would do a good job with the Naruto cast last weekend on my lunch break at work. Oddly enough, I still can't think of someone I just see as Naruto; no one jumps out at me. Vic Mignogna (Ed from Fullmetal Alchemist), who has confirmed to be pursuing a role in Naruto, said that Naruto's VA has already been cast, but Vic doesn't recognize the name from anything. He also said that Steve Blum will be voicing Kakashi *rejoices*. Anyhow, this is what my list looks like so far:

Sasuke - Chris Patton (Sousuke from Full Metal Panic!, but less stiff and more cocky)
Sakura - Jessica Boone (Arumi from Abenobashi. It would work, only without the hick accent.)
Kakashi - Steve Blum (Wish granted )
Iruka - Greg Aryes (Chrono from Chrono Crusade when the seal is undone, but a little goofier)
Hokage - William Knight (Aramaki from GITS:SAC)
Shikamaru - Sonny Strait (Maes Hughes from Fullmetal Alchemist, but a little younger and more bored/annoyed)
Ino - Luci Christian (Kaname from Full Metal Panic!)
Shino - Kent Williams (Hatori from Fruits Basket)
Kiba - Vic Mignogna (Kurz from Full Metal Panic!)
Hinata - Laura Bailey (Tohru from Fruits Basket, only more insecure)
Tenten - Kari Wahlgren (Fuu from Samurai Champloo)
Neji - Travis Willingham (Roy Mustang from Fullmetal Alchemist)
Rock Lee - Doug Smith (Kintaro from Goldenboy. He just needs to sound more like a kid. C'mon, he's perfect!)
Gai - Brett Weaver (Nabeshin from Excel Saga, but goofier and less Chaft-like. C'mon, he's perfect!)
Gaara - Eric Vale (Yuki from Fruits Basket, only more angsty)
Asuma - Richard Epcar (Batou from GITS:SAC)
Kunerai - Mary Elizabeth McGlynn (Major Kusanagi from GITS:SAC)
Anko - Amanda Winn Lee (Pandy from Dead Leaves, but with a little more humor and playfulness)
Haku - Jason Spisak (Ryuho from s-CRY-ed, but more feminine perhaps)
Zabuza - Chris Sabat (Piccilo from Dragonball Z)
Kabuto - Kirk Thornton (Jin from Samurai Champloo)
Orochimaru - Johnny Yong Bosch (Kiba from Wolf's Rain is about the closest he's done. I think if he could pull off sounding really meanacing and cocky - and deeper - he'd be great for the part)
Tsunade - Wendee Lee (Faye from Cowboy Bebop)
Itachi - Crispin Freeman (Alex Row from Last Exile)

If someone has any ideas for Naruto, Chouji or Jiraiya, or any other characters, lay them on me

Firstly I haven't seen the series however I know my VA's.

Lex Lang (how could you have a series without him?) Sanosuke - Rurouni Kenshin and the entire extra's cast in ArgentoSoma

Hilary Haag - (Granted her voice is slightly annoying but shes still a top contender) Sister Rosette, Chrono Crusade also RahXephon, Megumi Shitow

Tiffany Grant - (My god shes like completely awesome) Asuka NGE

Dorothy Melendrez (Always a good candidate for anime) Karou Kamia - Rurouni Kenshin, Naru Love Hina.

PS. Orochimaru - Johnny Yong Bosch <--- He was the black power ranger

Out of that whole list I only see two I really think would go the rest are making me cringe about how the voices will sound compared to the perfection that is the Japanese ones.

Think of a VA that is very good at sounding immature and then turning serious when needed. Someone who can sound very care free, and then at the drop of a hat turn into serious mode. That would be a good voice actor for Naruto. If any voice actor comes to mind, then maybe that va could be a very good candidate.

lol, perfection. Whatever man. What makes you unsure about the choices? Can you give me some reason, like they dropped the ball on one of the characters they did, or that you don't think their timbre matches up right? Or are you just gonna go OMEG DUBZ SUX SUBZ ROOLZ!!!111 LOLOLOL

CerebralAssamite, who do you suggest those VAs for? Right now I'm thinking just extra characters. Also, I know that Johhny Young Bosch was the second Black Ranger. He was also a Green Ranger in some of the later series.

Yeah, I agree. It's one reason I can't think of anyone. Just about everyone I've talked to can't think of someone who they think would do the part justice. However, the part has already been cast, apparerntly

Ooh, and a few others: the VA of Heero Yui for Sasuke;
if they could get the voice of Duo and Kouga to sound more like a kid - he's already got the arrogant good-guy thing down perfectly.

Maybe that guy who does the voice of Mandark from Dexter's Lab to do Rock Lee or somebody - that'd be AWESOME!!!

According to CrystalAcids, the people who dubbed Zatch Bell are the ones who are going to dub Naruto. So you may need to concentrate only to the VAs from the LA.
