Golden Boy anybody?

I looked through a couple of posts and i didnt see anything about Golden Boy specifically. I just watched the (first?) 6 golden boy episodes and i was wondering what other people thought of it. Is it good anime or was i just wasting my time? In your opinion, i mean, Cause i enjoyed it alot!

I have not seen golden boy yet, but i have heard from people that is a very good show. Personally I don't see why it matters what other people think about this show. If you are enjoying what you are seeing then you should just keep watching it regardless of what another person says to you.

There are only 6 episodes of Goldenboy. Definetely more in the manga and that is hentai.

Goldenboy is one of the funniest series I can remember. It actually hurts to watch it you're laughing so hard. I did make an AMV to it I like a lot. Stand Out

Golden Boy was one of the first Anime I've seen. It's so funny^^
I'd really like to watch it now^^

After seeing people on the boards hype it for several years I was a little dissapointed with it. Sure it's got it's funny moments and all, but it isn't as good as most people paint it.

I enjoyed it. It may not be the finest of anime but it's adult oriented humor was fun. I particularly enjoyed the way it all came together in the last episode. I would recomend it for those who like humorous anime.

It's not as racy or as funny as you might think. It's mildly amusing, but nothing I'd rush out to go see.

Don't worry about being "new 2 forums" everyone was once. Golden Boy was one of the first anime's I sought out and watched, and it was inevitably one of the shows that got me hooked. I would (and have,) gladly recommended it to my friends and still laugh every time I hear "study study" or "my queen" Better than normal dub as well as a superb origional voice cast nailed the show home.
