Yoshitaka Kawajiri as director (also did Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust, X TV, and Ninja Scroll) + Madhouse Studios for animation = FUC*** BADASS!

According to the website, the movie will premiere Spring of 2006.

Looks good, I just hope they stick "Princes of the Universe" somewhere in the finished film, not that I was ever a hard core Highlander fan or anything.

That was... interesting. Samurai Jack came to mind with the swordsman vs robot legions thing (not good), and he looked a little strange, but it could work.

I haven't seen Highlander or any of its spin-offs, though, so... meh.

Jesus titty fuckin christ! I've been looking around animenfo to see if madhouse was gonna produce ne thing new, and this comes out! Can't wait to see the anime is all i have to say. Maybe this whole movie won't revolve around with Sex and swords....well keep the swords.
