From what I've heard the dub loses all traces of legitimacy once you hear Envy's voice for the first time...

he does sound kind of like a girl, or adolescent boy, but for the most part the dub is pretty in line with the sub (I've seen both), and even when the voices don't SOUND as they did in Japanese, they fit the characters so well you don't mind it at all (remember, Envy didn't have a deep man-voice in the original show, either).
You know what they say: "when life gives you a T-Rex, go ninja-kick it in the head." - Rayne Summers, Least I Could Do
Proud to be a Jenova's Witness - WWSD (What Would Sephiroth Do?)

I believe they stuck to one of the intros and one of the ending themes... most U.S. programing scheduals don't mesh well with the added time put in by theme music and a full length episode.
