Digimon Movie 4

2005/07/07---Digimon Movie 4 in August

The first three Digimon movies were combined to create what was released in English as "Digimon: The Movie". As previously reported, it appears that the remaining Digimon movies are in the process of being dubbed. As posted in the Digimon TCG forums, it appears that the fourth movie, "Revenge of Diabormon" will be airing on Toon Disney on August 5, 2005 at 7:00pm and on ABC Family Jetix on August 6, 2005 at 9:00am. (Please note that this still lacks full confirmation since it hasn't been announced yet.)

Thanks to CyberDramon for this item. ^^

And because I've already been asked, YTV has not nabbed the newly dubbed Digimon movies yet. I'll let you know if this changes. ^_~

Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to do a strange impression of a sugar-high!Taichi, because with news like this, it's hard not be excited. ^___________^

Till next time...

It should be interesting to watch at least. I've seen the Japanese version so the story isn't new or anything, but as a faithful Digimon fan I will watch ^_^!

Can't wait to hear Davis and Ken's VA one more time. I wish they made a second Frontier movie!!!

digimon is a big fancy, technollogically advanced pokemon... they both won't stop making new seasons.... they both won't stop making movies even though only people who like them are still in daipers...

There I think we must agree to disagree. I could point out the many thematic differences between Pokemon and Digimon but I doubt you'd believe me unless you watch a story arc or something at least. They *have* stopped making seasons of Digimon last year - only four were made. Eight movies were made, though only seven involve characters from the series. I highly doubt more will be made. This is my all-time favorite anime. You'll probably mock me for it, but I'll just smile quietly and enjoy my show.

I only started this thread to spread the word about the Movie event, which is now long past. I had hoped to avoid a "Digimon sux vs Digimon doesn't suck" flame war.

PS - I am 25.

I watched digimon and I agree it was good when it was still the original group of freinds and not that whole other thing they called a 3rd season

I love all the seasons. 01 got me hooked. 02 had Ken and Davis. Tamers revealed a new level of interactivity, and had a decidedly darker tone to it. Some have compared it to Evangelion - http://www.angelfire.com/anime2/digipedia/ Talking about grief, suicide, etc etc. Not to mention canon boyfriend/girlfriend!

For those who hate Tamers, Season 4 returns to the light-hearted themes of 01 and 02, and brings more hot guy goodness and plenty of angst and plot twists! I can't pick a favorite!
