Hello everyone,
I'd like to ask your help. I'm working on a new AMV, but need something important..THE ANIME!!! o.O

I'd like to ask you guys if you know a character who failed into love or friendship. Please also refer to the anime, if you know one, because some names are also used into other animes.

I would apreciate your help

Characters who have failed in love or friendship? My first recommendation is to look at some Romance AMVs, since they sometimes have characters with relationship trouble.
Here are a list of series/characters to give you a headstart...

Love Hina (Keitaro has relationship problems for pretty much the entire series)
Ranma 1/2 (Several characters, but Ryouga & Mousse are the first that pop into my mind)
Cowboy Bebop (Spike, Jet, and Faye have various problems in different episodes)
Excel Saga (Ilpalazzo doesn't care about Excel's love for him, Watanabe has trouble hooking up with Hyatt, Iwata wants Misaki but is constantly beaten up, and of course dear Pedro's sexy wife has betrayed him...
...DAMN YOU GOMEZ!!!

Neon Genesis Evangelion (Shinji's a wuss, no love for him)
Naruto (Naruto likes Sakura, who likes Sasuke, who is off in his own little world)
Pokemon (Brock hits on every pretty girl he sees and is almost always turned down)
InuYasha (Miroku, same as Brock)
FLCL (Naota is pretty much a loner at the start of the series)
Dragonball (Master Roshi, same as Brock and Miroku but not as much)
Hamtaro (Laura likes Travis, but he doesn't notice)
Fruits Basket (Kagura wants to be with Kyo, but he doesn't want her)
Detective Conan/Case Closed (Shinichi/Jimmy is stuck in a child's body and can't tell his girlfriend Ran/Rachel)
Azumanga Daioh (Kaorin likes Sakaki, but is too embarrassed to tell her)

Fushigi Yuugi - Miaka is in love with Tamahome, who, for a time, doesn't return the feelings.

Video Girl Ai - Youta gets no love from Moemi, and Ai gets no love from Youta once Moemi enters the picture.

Lum* Urusei Yatsura - Lum wants Ataru; Ataru wants everybody else and can't admit that Lum does mean something to him.

I second either a Naruto (aim for the lesse but still known characters, it is usually more interesting and original) or a Love Hina

Naruto and Sasuke comes to mind... the whole "kill your best friend in order to gain more power" thing really puts a damper on a relationship...
