we started watching bubble gum crisis tokyo 2040 last night. We had already seen 3 dvds a very long time ago, so now that we had the whole series we decided to go ahead and watch them over so we wouldn't miss anything, we got so bored to death though watching it twice we never even made it to number three, we both just passed out.

I have never really tried to sit and watch something all at one time although I must give it a go. However I couldn't watch more than one series at a time because I just wouldn't be inclined I like to mull over what I've just watched and I wouldn't have free rein over that TV for that long.
OK lets see, there is 95 ep(25mins each) of kenshin plus 2hr movie plus prequel ova lasting 2hrs and a sequel ova lasting 90mins. Also Ranma is a damn long series. There's 150 eps I think 12ova eps lasting 25mins each plus 2 90min movies. Now that alone would last a hell of a long time your eyes would be bulging out of your head.. However I would definately not watch these two series together, they're too different. I love them both and it took me 3 years to see them all because of all the downloading delays even then they were in really crap quality, could barely read the subtitles. But now I have them on DVD, God bless HK rips

[[[[Well, I somehow doubt that you will stay up the entire 72 hour time set, but good luck on watching everything. I read in the Guinness book of world records, that the longest time watching TV (Movies, Cable, whatever.) is 50 hours, with 5 minuet bathroom and time to get snacks break.]]]]

True, the periods of nothing happening would drive a man crazy. A cut would be cool, emptying all the fillers and meaningless crap to just make pure endless fighting. Although again, the insanity is still an issue...klinky wrote:Try and obtain all the Detective Conan episodes....
or you could... {shrug} watch DBZ for 72hrs... I think people would go insane tho.

I don't know, it's not so bad when you jave the dvds. I mean when you don't know what's going to happen and you're eager to find out waiting a half an hour for any new info at all is a killer when you don't get it, and you only get one episode a day 5 days a week. But I have the first 53 episodes and I didn't find it all that bad, just so long as I could pop the next disc in I was good. The only thing I didn't like was the fake namek planet, I never want tor e-watch that again.
