Petite Charat from Digi Charat: The main reason I love her is because she reminds me of my eight year old sister. She even physically resembles the character. They both have that calm, levelheaded demeanor and that hilarious "Hello, aren't you utterly oblivious to everything?" attitude. It's really funny/annoying to see that attitude in one so young, but I think that trait will serve both Rachel and Pukyo-chan well in life.
Ryo from Fake: I saw this one shot movie at a yaoi fest at AWA, and fell in love with it. Dee is also hysterical, but I like Ryo's innocence and honesty. He is really sweet, but they don't go overboard with it or make him *too* doe eyed (a common mistake that yaoi writers make).
Utena: What else is there to say? Utena rocks. She's tough, friendly, sweet, and slightly naive in a good way. I like characters with mysterious pasts, and all the twisted fairytale elements of SKU work really well. I'm also very partial to her because or the ambiguous nature of her gender identity/sexuality. It was implied that she was attracted to both men and women, but she seems to be one of the only characters in the series who ISN'T totally sex crazed. She's also noble, loyal to a fault, innocent, and kind. I would have given anything to have seen that when I was about 15 or so.
Vash the Stampede: You mean there's something about Vash NOT to love? He's insane. He's pathologically addicted to donuts. He's a pacifist who carries the coolest set of guns in any anime series. I usually like my anime guys to be cool, but with elements of dorkiness. His chibi face cracks me up every time!
Spike Speigal: Like Vash, Spike has that "sense of humor combined with dark circumstances" thing workin' for him. He swings from funny to angsty in less than three seconds. The ending of "The Real Folk Blues" was so well done. I wanted to give Spike and Oscar... then I remembered that he was a cartoon character. I'm partial to Spike because I'm in love with his English voice actor. The fact that I've never seen the man is irrelevant.
Faye Valentine: I love all the Cowboy Bebop charries, but Spike and Faye are my favorites. Faye cracks me up. She's a tough woman, but she isn't an anime stereotype.
Guu: I can't remember the name of the series (something in Japanese that's translated as "The Jungle Was Always Quiet, Then Came Guu"). If you've seen it, you know what I'm talking about. Hehehe.
Ran: She's everyone's favorite alcoholic samauri. "What kind of town is this? There isn't a bar!"
Miroku from Inuyasha: "Will you bear my child?" ::cracks up::
She also looks BAD ASS in a wedding dress...
