aquarian age
i was shopping for the eiken dvd which i was suprised was 14 bucks bnut anyway i saw a dvd called the aquarian age wondering if anyone has seen it and personal opinion of the movie/series.

I've only seen Aquarian Age: the Movie which is just mostly a pure action "flick" with cute girls with badass powers. There also a TV series that's takes place in the same Aquarian Age universe but has different set of characters. There's also a manga series called Juvenile Orion that's in the similar universe but mostly consists of guys.
In a nutshell, Aquarian Age deals with four groups with each having a different set of powers. One saga deals with the four groups fighting each other for the future of Earth. There's another saga where the four groups join up to fight these evil aliens know as ERASERS. Then there's another saga where the new enemy, the Polestar Empire, starts to invade the earth.
The thing is that Aquarian Age is based on a trading card game (similar to Yu-Gi-Oh! and Magic: the Gathering) created by Broccoli (known for Digi Charat and Galaxy Angel) where its universe is pretty massive; the TV series, manga, and the movie doesn't even scratch the surface of it. Hell, the cards aren't even released here in America so all the other media is rather dry.
The actual premise of Aquarian Age is rather facinating, and the cards really looks cool (especially the girls
