Your thoughts on DUB 'english'
I pose a question to anyone who watches anime:
do you think anime is better in japanese than english??? why?
well personallyi think its better in english beacuse you get the full dialouge of what they're saying because (this is what i think happens) when you watch anime in subtitles they tend to cut out a lot of dialouge just so you can read it in enough time...
but yeah anyway what are your thoughts???

Why do I have a feeling some jackrabbit is going to call Batman? They both have their points. Most people prefer Japanese and reading subtitles because you get the full uncut, unedited version. I do not believe that they cut dialouge just so you can read it. Fansubbers may do that, but I don't think professionals do so. Many English dubs are actually very good but because of matching lip movements, you're not going to get a perfect uncut English dub anyway. And there is all that about there not being a perfect/direct translation. That is true. It's really up to the individual. I like both. When I'm not in the mood to read, I watch the dub no matter how bad the dubbing company screwed it up. If I'm in the mood to watch real anime, I watch the subtitled version. There I answered your question.
