(i have a bad memory but i'll try)
spike was asking: why isnt there any beef in the beef and noodle soup????

and in the subtitles its like: there is no beef?

thats a laim example but its one none the less
So you mean like when the subs don't explain x statement while the dubs do?

Unless you are a good/fast reader. Subs aren't anymore difficult than dubs for me, but that isn't always the case.

just another question when you (anime fans in genral) want to see people (vocie actors) from anime they're going to be poeple from the dubbed audio

becuase in australia we have supanova which is an anime con and people who are strong believers in dubbed shouldnt be allowed, they're all go nuts when people from the dubbed audio come over here and do there thing... isnt that kinda hipercritical (cant spell it??)

so yeah do you (anime fans in genral) excited because people from the animes you watch come to your cons????

hope that makes sense???

And is that any worse than going nuts when the original Japanese voice actors come over here and visit our cons? (I believe Maaya Sakamoto was at AX 2005...?)

Hypocritical? No, not really.
Stupid and immature? I think so.

I would love to meet my favorite VA's from my favorite anime from both the Japansese and dubbed version. I have no preference really. Until certain English VA's who have very distictive voices kill you by doing roles they shouldn't.....sorry about that...please don't kill me. I know VA's are not a dime a dozen and I respect everything they do.

well thats understandable i dont mind people who are neutral, like you because i cant stand people who hate/dislike engish dub and then they go 'yeah i really like the guy who does spike in cowboy bebop, i would love to meet him'. those people get on my nerves

but thank you for your replies (all of you)

I usually prefer the subs, but I guess it defends how well the anime is subbed. I think it was about two years ago, my friend leant me the first few episodes of Naruto and during the fight with Zabuza, Naruto apparently said something along the lines of 'you wont not beat us - we are 5' ... O_o *twitch* But I got a better version not long after. XD

There are some animes where I prefered the dubbed versions, none spring to mind, erm.... fruits basket. That was ok.... back to the point, I prefer subbed versions in general.
