My turn:

1) I wasn't talking about poorly translated fansubs, I was actually talking about real subs, as in biligual DVD's made by the companies ADV, Pioneer... (those are the only 2 I know of).

2) That's right, we shouldn't have to buy our anime, we should be able to get it whenever we want! (btw that is sarcasm). Yes downloading music off the internet is bad (my 8th grade year and Napster), but we should be able to download anime anytime we want! Screw the record labels, Toei Animation, and all the dubbing companies!!!!

I am not being mean, I'm just stating my opinion, and I just realized how much hate I am going to get for this...

noooo because if we dont buy our anime then people wont have any more money to make anime because someone is not going to some anime for the hell of people.. they're there to make money... i'm sorry but thats how most of the world is.....

see i have to disagree with that comment ( i do wish we can get all the anime in the world on dvd in english/japanese, but its not going to happen)

see now i have to ask you this will you make an anime for no money at all that was produced professinaly???

i know i wouldnt because yeah i wouold love making it but i'm not prepared to fork out money for people to watch my hard work for free!!!

i'm an anime fan but i'd rather pay for anime for futer anime to be produced sooooo yeah

my main point was i dont think downloading anime is right!!

It depends on personal prferance over the voices to me. If you can speak japanese and honestly prefer the japanese voices, fine, that's all good (Or fansubs if you're a fast reader/the dub isn't on in your country) But I actually prefer some dub voices, so it depends.

Though, having a choice on the official DVD (like on Spirited away) between English and Japanese with subs is great; there were a few minor changes at the end which were a little interesting to me if I remember correctly.

If anybody needs me,I'll be beating the crap out of the tv how the 4kids people took tokyo mew mew-show for the planet, and turned it into Mew mew Power-show for the love lost. They cut out so much and then put back in some crap to make up for it which makes it suck even more........I watch it anyway,it does still prove to be entertaining
I never thought that there would be the day...when this this sig would be upgraded.

Oh yes, and the Japanese are sooooo reliant on sales of dubs  . Face it, people, we ain't as important as we'd like to think... we're marginal to the Japanese compared to internal profits. Sales of anime and anime merchandise in America is still much less than in Japan - we have very little bearing on the income at all.
