anime open and closing themes

I find the opening and closing of a song make up the mood of the anime for me. I can totally be thrown off by a bad theme song.[color=orange][/color]

well, thats nice. You should have made it more apparent what you wanted to discuss, though.

Opening themes really do give the show a mood and a feeling of what you are about to see, I'll agree with you on that, but I'm not really sure what you meant by being "thrown off" by a bad theme.

i dont know about that, the most Paranoia Agent showed me was it would be a weird ass show with a bat wielding nut.

True, on the other hand, I turned on Fullmetal Alchemist the second week it was on; Ready Steady Go! doesn't really fit with the entire mood of the show, at least the larger, super-emo feel of it, but it is cool, and really gets you into it.

Opening of Tsukuyomi ~ Moon Phase!

You thought it's going to be some dark, moody vampire series at the beginning part of the first episode until..........yeah, you should know it.

Then, from what I heard, the opening song for Narutaru. It looked like and sounded like some happy-go-lucky type of song, though the actual premise of the entire series is a lot more disturbing.

Man, the Elfen Lied ending song seriously throws you off, if thats all someone saw, they'd think it was a happy, romantic show, but its not! No one would get blood and extra limbs from "Maybe I wanna be your girl"

The theme that Adult Swim uses doesn't really fit with the show at all anymore (and if you follow the show, you know why). I think that they should use the same openig/closing themes that originally went with the show when it was aired in Japan (there were 4 of each) instead of just the altered "Ready Steady Go!" theme.

i think the reason they use the first one is because the second has Greed and his crew but they were in it for a short time while Lust and the others are still roaming.
