Dude that would be so awesome if you can get me a copy. I saw your video and it looks like something I would enjoy. I'll see what I can do for you in return.

I'm surprised that no one has mentioned Genocyber! From what I remember it was a pretty gory anime. Not to mention at the end of each movie you get to see hundreds of thousands of people die, plus the disturbing scene of a little girl being shot like a thousand times...pretty demented actually.

I've seen a chunk of the older anime. Hell, I watched anime since around 1989-ish or so on Japanimation... [nice and censored on TV ^_^]

But after seeing the old and the new, there's one anime that personifies violence and gore in the utmost form...

Fist of the North Star.

Both the new tv series and the OLD movie had inhumane gallons upon buckets upon tanks of blood flying left and right...

What sets this puppy apart from the other dogs is that this little one's main fang relied on the fact that you didn't use 'tools' to unleash the blood. No guns, no swords, no clubs, no tools at all.

You didn't even use sheer force really. The killing art utilized in Hokuto Shin Ken [Fist of the North Star art of Assassination] worked around touching. [yes that's right, when Kenshiro touched that guy's face, it caved in due to the touch, NOT due to brute force... LOL]

I touch you with my fingers and you die an insanely bloody demise... Now THAT'S a real man's form of violence...
"Strength lies in action. Let the weak react to me..." - Kamahl, Pit Fighter from Magic: the Gathering
"That is a mistake many of my enemies make. They think before they act. I act before I think!" - Vortigern from Merlin ('98)
"I AM REBORN!" - Dark Schneider Bastard!! OAV

The beauty of that was that it wasn't even just Ken that was pulling those wonderful party tricks...we also had Raoh (who tech. was pulling similar, but I digress), Shin (something to be said for a man who can gouge a person to death with his index finger), and Rei (He slices, he dices... ...and all using only his fingers!)

That was part of what I liked about FotNS...it could have easily fallen prey to the same head explosions...but they still managed to add some fun (if slightly twisted) diversity to the death
*still a fan of the series death where Ken gave 30 seconds...and the animators even threw a timer in the corner as his enemy paniced*

I'm realy surprised that no one mentioned Twilight of the Dark Master yet. It has plenty of blood and violence.

There are a few scenes in Ghost in the shell: 2nd Gig that are pretty gory as well as bloody, but only a few.

Damn where is all the old school gore love? Kai S. is like king of all things gore anime, I still want to re-do GOREGASM and have quite a few animes up my sleeve to use this time around.
