My Spooky Horrible Doom
For me Final Fantasy isn't just a game it was the entrance into a whole new world. A world where I would deny myself sleep food and human contact just to see if I could get every character to master Their spells in FF3. Where I would slowly start to fail all my AP classes in FF7. Where I would hang out with people I genuinely hated just cause they had FF8. To Paraphrase Rent in Trainspotting "there's nothing in this world like a good and true FF habit."

There's no way around the fact that Final Fantasy is an incredibly high quality series. Though IX, X, and X-2 were disappointing, I'd like to get into FF XI at some point, and XII looks to be quite interesting. My favorites were games 2(4), 3(6), and 7. Great stuff.
You're lucky... I've decided to let you live to see the day when I will rule the world.

Dude, you realize the last time she even posted in this thread was a month and a half ago, right? It's not like she's dragging the thread down.Cloud Clone wrote:Excuse me, but would you please shut your mouth? Your ignorance is showing.
I didn't find IX to be disappointing at all; but then again, it did seem more geared towards girls. I thought it was a very sweet little story. VII is still my favorite though, but IX is probably a close second. I do agree that X was a bit disappointing though, and I'm really looking forward to XII.

Bring it back to the old school, FF3 had everything except graphics. Good game play, fairly open style gaming (mostly in the second half), Loads of characters, drama, and great fighting systems. Personally I think it has Uemetsu's best music to date. Yoshitaka Amanos Character designs were so fresh and original when they came out. The whole package blew my mind. To this day I'll play it for weeks at a time, what other game do you know with that kinda replay value.

Well the thing about it is, I liked X, regardless of how much the leveling up system was frustrating to me, but other than that, I liked how the storyline was set up. As for the other games, I'd have to say IV was my least favorite one, simply because I didnt feel drawn into it as well, the others after it. But I have to agree with the other, VI was my all time favorite, because of the music and how well the storyline was.
