Any Initital d fans out there?
xD its on of my fave animes, i dont see alot of people talk about it.

Yeah Im interested in Initial D, however it seems that i've just recently noticed the favourtism that Shigeno Shuichi shows for Takumi...
I hate the fact he wins with luck, its not even skill anymore it never was when you think about it. Keisuke wins with skill however half he's races aren't even shown in stage 4..
On a good note though.. I must thank Shigeno Shuichi for making this anime, if it were not for Initial D, I would never have grown fond of cars.

Initial D is one of those shows that I totally expected to hate.
Look at it... the character design is hideous, the story usually involves watching some guy "think" about what he's doing while he drives. The actual races are so repetitive in their animation that very little happens.
The story essentially repeats over and over for the first 3/4 of the show; "wow, these guys are really arrogant, lets show them our skills" "wow these guys are on another level" "I just want to be with darling".
yet.... somehow I always find myself watching it when it comes out. On top of that, I'm actually enjoying the show. Go figure.

Yeah I'm an Initial D fan, it helps to fuel my fondness of cars as well. Definitely can't wait until the next episode of 4th stage is released. It should be out around Christmas. The openings and endings that are performed by MOVE are pretty awesome too. I wish I could of gotten the chance to see them at Anime USA.
