Got that right. Nothing like seeing Ken slam a saw into a guys head and then ripping it out.

:D

Never got on the DBZ kick. Never saw the appeal.

I never really liked DBZ but so many people like it and i just keep getting the answer "because its violent" hmm oh well thats just how some people are  One of the first animes i watched was either Sailor Moon when i was really little or Kenshin when older, not really DBZ
The same reason Sailor Moon, Naruto, Evangelion, and InuYasha are so popular?
I dont think that they are popular for the same reasons,
Sailor Moon i guess could be considered the DBZ of shojo anime/manga
InuYasha..umm..i never was a big fan of that either
Naruto has more to it than lots of violence
Woah compareing Evangelion and DBZ  i see a big difference there, Evangelion does not have to all do with giant fighting things and it wouldnt be as cool if it did

I think one of the reassons that DBZ is so popular is that it takes no thought to follow it. You can miss almost an entire week of eps and still know what is going on in the story. Hell you probably just skipped the powering up and went stait to the fight. :P

I personally don't know why DBZ is so popular. Personally, I'm not fond of it. It freaks me out... :?

It was the first anime I saw and I loved it, especially when goku was about to do a kamehameha.

The only problem was that that took ten episodes BUT...... That is what drew u in bcuz you would wonder if goku would kill him or be interrupted by the enemy....... and.... ooooooooooo look at all that energy, just all electrical and pulsating.. .. I wonder how much damage it could do, or how much bigger it could get or...... <-------

the questions keep coming and the more u ask the more u want to know and that is why its so popular.

OMG DBZ is popular. The world is going to end now.

I like it because it's the coolest thing I've seen in aerial fighting. What beats it may I ask you.. and dbz is so chocked full of it and they've done a lot of interesting fights in the series to keep it interesting. Meh.. I dunno.. I just started watching it because I saw two people kicking each others asses in ways I've never seen before and the animation was pretty fluid. Don't get confused with me saying fluid because I know in the series, at times the effort changes throughout the series in the art and animation. Sometimes it seems lazy while other times you wonder what could beat it.
