idk about that, you could go to adv's site and check it out for yourself, i think they would have subbs idk, but dubbed doesn't bothe me, subbed is good, but idk it doesn't bother me {shrugs}BasharOfTheAges wrote:I could really do without more dubs on TV... Now if they offered subbed shows at all, i'd consider it.

At the moment, TAN VOD doesn't have subbed content - neither do any of the other VOD anime channels, IIRC. However, on The Anime Network's linear channel, they do seem to be offering a one-hour sub block (currently NGE) every Saturday and Sunday.defmonkey wrote:idk about that, you could go to adv's site and check it out for yourself, i think they would have subbs idk, but dubbed doesn't bothe me, subbed is good, but idk it doesn't bother me {shrugs}BasharOfTheAges wrote:I could really do without more dubs on TV... Anyway, you shouldn't even bother handing out petition URLs - historically I believe they've done somewhere between jack and shit in actually accomplishing something. I doubt DirectTV is going to listen to a badly-written petition signed by even less eloquent people that isn't even directed to them. Why is a petition for the purpose of getting TAN on satellite directed, in the words of the page, "To: A. D. Vision, Inc."? If it hadn't occured to you, ADV *wants* TAN to be shown on as many TVs as possible - more viewers, more advertising bucks, more profit. This petition seems to have been written with little consideration for how this sort of thing actually works. It *should* have been directed to DirectTV and so on, but that bridge seems to have been burned already.
Currently Video On Demand is exclusive to digital cable and that probably isn't changing anything. As far as the 24/7 TAN is concerned, it isn't even in existence beyond 9 or 10 randomly dispersed cable networks.. I doubt DirectTV is going to go NEAR it until ADV can prove that TAN24/7 is a viable success, so until then you'll have to curse the fact that you have a satellite dish.
