I am really, /really/, disappointed with the quality of the manga at the moment...[drawing wise], It's like the mangaka had a stroke.

Nevertheless, HxH remains my favorite shounen anime. It has undoubtedly the coolest characters I’ve ever seen [for me at least].I highly recommend it. You'll see where shows like Naruto got some of it's inspiration from. Awesome stuff.

ps - I'd kill to see a good Hunter x Hunter AMV :|

I think this anime is definetely something different and interesting to watch. I went crazy watching that volleyball saga as I call it. It's a very hard anime for what I call "shounen noobs" to get into. Not really the type of show that can capture a Dragonball Z fan after a couple episodes. I love it though.

It's worth watching.
Unlike a show that it gets compared to (rhymes with Naruto), the characters do actually develop, and stuff actually happens in the show that has consequences for the characters.

When I first watched it, I found the style to be slightly childish, but I got over it soon enough.

1 word, 2 syllables: E-bay...... .com. Try ebay.com. Just watch out for the bootleg shit if you don't want it "I don't mind bootlegs".

Uh, actually, unless he plans on watching it without subtitles, bootlegs are his only choice.

HxH needs to be licensed already, gosh darn it! :?
