Don't be dense. Not everything has incest, although it's fairly common from what I understand. But if you consider that extreme to the point of freaking you out badly, then there are a LOT of things in hentai that you probably can't deal with.

Put it this way - the guy may have been dicking his cousin, but they were both alive, human, and not being tortured, right? You got off easy. No pun intended.

I'd definitely say to avoid Please Twins if incest is THAT bad for ya... However, there's only one level of 'somewhat' incest I think isn't bad at all... [step-siblings + cousins in law...] Nobody's related except by marriage law so who cares?... Though I was kinda irked at first when during one of the ancient brady bunch movies, Greg and Marsha were about to start humping [ok, forget I mentioned it... lol]

Heck, one of the long running plot points in Marmalade Boy, a fairly decent romance series, is that there is a chance that the two main characters are actually brother and sister, not just in-law through their parent's divorce and remarriage to the partner of the other's parent (very weird situation).

Now whether they ARE or not would be a spoiler.

Also, see Sakura Diaries for more cousin-loving. And Elfen Lied (though nothing but a kiss comes of it, IIRC). Cousins seem to be more accepted, it may not even be incestous in Japan to marry first cousins, though that would require some research.

Please Twins is the sequel to Please Teacher, and I've never seen it, but I know for a fact that Mizuho and Kei aren't related one bit.

First, let me say I believe incest to be morally wrong.

That said, it is our religious convictions that make incest reprehensible to us. In many places this is not so. In areas where people live in small groups it is hard not to marry into your own family. Many dynasties have tried to keep the power in the family by incest, anchient Egypt being the most well known.

Incest is not as uncommon in the world today as you would seem to think. There are still many places where it is not illegal. People are, after all still human. Young people are very driven by their biology, just about anything of the opposite gender is likely to get some response, wanted or not. This is built into us, driven by those overactive hormones of our youth.

You should not be surprized by incest in henti. They are trying to reach into the most taboo of subjects to grab our most voyeristic tendencies. Incest, rape, sadomasochism, bestiality, the fact that they often make the characters seem underage, these are things I saw in the couple of henti I have seen. I didn't see any married couple sex, but but one anime I have has only romantic consentual scenes, the characters again look quite young, though are supposed to be college age or older. It is "Wet Summer Days", I recommend it for the three stories, not for the sex.

If you want some fun, I have a text file called "Everything I Needed to Know About Life I Learned From Hentai". If you want a copy, (and are of sufficient age) send me a PM and I'll send it to you. It's pretty funny, and very true. Here are a couple lines.
