Similar Characters

I didn't see any other threads like this, but if there is one please let me know. I've noticed that a lot of characters in anime are very similar. Here I was wondering what other people think. Some of the characters I think are similar are:

Sousuke from Full Metal Panic
Heero from Gundam Wing

Mireille from Noir
Madlax from Madlax

Kirika from Noir
Margaret from Madlax

Tetsunosuke from Peacemaker
Son Goku from Saiyuki

I don't know I just thought it would be fun to see what characters other people thought were similar.

I don't know I just thought it would be fun to see what characters other people thought were similar.

But this thread could be used for so much more! Many characters share similar personalities and/or physical traits, so you could try discussing how x-character type reacts in this scenario as opposed to this other senario, and how both situations solidly demonstrate the similarities despite the characters being in an unrelated environment.

Ex: Sarara (Bottle Fairy) and Jo (Burst Angel)

Both characters have red eyes and grey hair. They are also the tomboys of the group. But while Jo does so by being badass, Sarara is merely boyish as opposed to badass.

Don't just list. Give reasons, and possibly even discuss differnt character types. You could also give examples from the episodes, showing the characters displaying similat personalities.

One iv'e stated before.

Goku - Dragonball
Naruto Uzumaki - Naruto
Both are blockheads that never catch on right away, and share that inner thing that will always make them the strongest in the end, not to mention they have the same taste in color.

Vegeta - Dragonball
Sasuke Uchina(or something) - Naruto
pretty much the rival to the main character, put alot of people down, pretty arrogant, not to mention they have the same taste in color.

Jiraiya and Master Roshi for obvious reasons.
