And, yes there's a ridiculous number of new premieres coming this Spring. Hell, there's been reports that this spring season marked a record high with an estimate of over 50 shows premiering. And we're also including some of the second season premieres as well like Tsubasa, School Rumble, and Aria.
Now the shows I'm definetely checking up on are obviously the new yuri series, Simoun and Strawberry Panic. Also the new CLAMP series xxxHolic as well as the 2nd season of Tsubasa. And for some good bishoujo thriller, mystery (of which I heard there's been some buzz since the original PC game rivaled TYPE-MOON's Fate/stay night in terms of sales), Higurashi no Nakukoro ni is worth a look. There's also a GENCO x ARMS production (who also did Elfen Lied) called Himawari which has cute ninja girls. And I let time pass by and see what else is out there, but those are the shows I'm definetely checking out.
Oh yeah, for you gamers out there, there's a Disgaea anime series coming as well. The promo with the army of penguins were very amusing, and the animation from OLM looks really good!
