Of course unless Justin Cook moves out of Texas to either LA or Canada, chances of him getting a main role on Bleach is massively small.

That's cool, but Richard Cox sucks Cox. Plus with have the same first name, but he sucks Cox cause of his last name and I'm a King.....where was I going with this?

I just hope Ichigo's voice is something new and original that I never heard of.

I definitely see this as an Ocean dub because the LA group's doing the other major title, Naruto. Richard Cox could make a good Ichigo, he made a better Ranma than Sarah and his InuYasha is almost exactly how I envisioned him to sound like.

Maybe Scott McNeil will get a lucky break and score Ichigo's voice. Assuming he modified his voice a bit (which he can do quite well), that might work out for the best.

I wish Ian James Corlett still did voices for anime.

Of course, they could just subtitle it and air it with the Japanese language track. None of the fansub fans would complain about the voices or pronunciations (hello Narutards!). Of course, then they would have issues with the translations. Gah, one cannot win!

At any rate, I do expect some minor editing or possibly a later time slot. But free* legal anime is all a bonus to me!

*Someone does have to pay for the cable bill, so technically it isn't free.

I actually think Steven Blum WOULD do a good job as Ichigo; he proved he can do younger characters as Kazuma in Scryed. My other vote is Justin Cook, who played Yusuke in the Yu Yu Hakusho dub.

I have to say, though... I really could see Kazuma's voice coming from Ichigo's mouth, so I'm praying it's him over anybody.

I agree with you that Blum would do a better job at Ichigo.
I think in american dubs, one of the bigest mistakes is that alot of the male cast is made to sound too young. Take Naruto for instance.... *shudders* I think that a voice closer the sub would be best, and i recal ichigo haveing a lower, and more hmm... "mature" voice. (granted though, he is not that mature... lol)

I am still really happy that it will be airing on adult swim! Or, is it already? I don't have time to watch it anymore, so don't ask why I would even find this good news... *sob*

Agreed with you Emil, I dying to hear Steven Blum do the voice for Ichigo. You guys should listen to his voice demo, he is a very talented actor. I bet he will do us all the justice as the voice of Ichigo. His voice always give the feeling of "strong, and energetic" just like Mugen ind Samurai Champloo.

I love Steven's voice, I could just listen for hours even if he is just bullshiting LOL

See, that's what I was going against, as I said earlier:

Only thing I'm afraid of is Ichigo's voice. His Japanese voice is one of my favs. I'll smack Cartoon Network if they give his voice to David Lucas. Spike, Onizuka, Mugen, okay. But Ichigo? *smack!*

I love Steven Blum aka David Lucas's voice but it DOES NOT fit for Ichigo. Think about the japanese Ichigo voice. Blum is too heavy and blues type of voice acting to do Ichigo. I love his screams in Onizuka but I thought those were funny. I'd perfer a completely new voice for Ichigo, at least a voice that's not too popular.

Inyuasha will most likely come back anyways, it's too good of an anime, even though it's done. Havr they shown all the moive on CN net? Are there like 5 moives now?

But I will shit a brick is Renji or Ichigo has Ranma's voice.
