Why does all english dubs of animes suck? Sailor Moon Super? God, the dub was awful! Pokemon? Gay. Azumanga Daioh? I didnt really like Osaka's voice. Does anyone else here think dubs are bad? (P.S. I heard the BLEACH dub was gonna be terrible, but it hasnt came out yet so Ill let my guard down for now)

not all dubs suck
a lot of it has to do with prefrences
for example, I like the American dub of Cowboy bebop more than the Japanese dub. After watching Trouble Chocolate subbed, I couldn't stand the dub

I find that whatever language I start a series in is the one that I prefer to hear (and finish the series in)

I'm sure the next four posters will repeat it, but your avatar and signature are too large. Their max dimensions should be 80x80 and 40x600 pixels respectively.

I actually liked Osaka's voice, seems I'm the only one, though.

As for the Pokemon dub, I'd go with the old fallback of "Cause 4KIDS did it".

Of course, for good dubs, anylist is incomplete without FLCL. Even with few people I've talked to who dislike FLCL's dub, I've never met anyone who disliked the dub who didn't dislike the sub for the same rerasons.

The Japanese Osaka voice was cute, but didnt quite defeat Chiyo's voice (english or Japanese) But anyway, Sailor Moon Super 102 Dub: When Mina showed up dressed as Sailor Moon, she had a horrible voice. The Sailor Kick attack when she said it was dreadful. She didnt even say her special attack (Love Me Moon Chain) in the dub when she did in the subbed. Im probly the only one here that watches Sailor Moon S, so you might not know what Im rambling on about.
