i just saw the movie tuesday and i have 2 things to say and i also have to qoute my friend.
Subject 1:
70% of the fights are in the air, 20% of the fights are on motorbikes, but only 10% of fights are on the ground. I know this makes the movie awesome, but it is soo unrealistic.
Subject 2:
the fight between Tifa and that one dude with the electric thing on his arm that gave him "haste".... I loved that fight, my favorite part was his phone ringing at the end of the battle and he got whooped.
Quote:
this quote was about the person who used the blue materia to summon the big dragon thingy. "He used blue materia to summon, thats not right!!! Red materia is summons!!!' he got pretty worked up. as for me, not having played the game i had no idea what he was talking about. ohh 1 more thing he said that sombody flying through a megaflare is impossible, he says cloud should have been burned up inside of the megaflare. he claims that it is impossible and that he has tested it in the game

Well I'm not sure if the movie was meant to be realistic. That's the beauty of animation, you can make almost anything happen. I think the everywhere but the ground fight scenes echo other Japanese films like Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon.nuramu wrote:i just saw the movie tuesday and i have 2 things to say and i also have to qoute my friend.

I loved that Tifa fight too. I think it was one of my favorite parts of the movie. Tifa is so beautiful and graceful.
I don't know about all of your friend's comments about the game. Maybe someone more familiar with the game can help answer.
I'm glad you liked the movie!

Its a CG movie...about a video game...where you can summon a monster with a little colored orb...and an immortal villian that keeps coming back to freaken life. I think mid air flights are the least of people's worries when it comes to realism lol.
And for anybody who hasnt seen it yet.
--> semi spoiler --> her voice is still as hot in english as it was in japanese
ok if you dont want that spoiled dont think about who "her" is.
Sephiroth's voice is badass, I played the big fight scene over and over and over just to hear those trademark lines of his.
"I thought of a wonderful present for you. Shall I give you dispair?"

"Tell me what you cherish most. Give me the pleasure of taking it away."

I do too know!! I'd have to have spent the last few years living under a rock not to know that. What kind of fan DOESN'T know by now? I was merely commenting on how it was bad enough in Kingdom Hearts, and that having him in the movie would be miserable. By the way psy, I like your avatar.Psygnius wrote:I'm not talking to you, I'm referring to the comment made by Bloodfest Butterfly, since it sounds like Bloodfest does not know about his voice in Kingdom Hearts.MovieMarc wrote:yes, psy, that was the reason for the comment.Psygnius wrote:Lance Bass was the voice of Sephiroth in Kingdom Hearts. So the concept is already a reality.Bloodfest Butterfly wrote: MovieMarc: Owch. Low blow, there. Lance Bass...The concept makes my TEETH itch.
