The Devilman (ova)

Ok i finally watched Devilman The Birth, The Demon Bird, and Amon
so here is my question. Is there a missing ova? Second if there is'nt a missing ova then why don't the Amon ova make any damn sense. It's like it has nothing to do with the first two. So anyone that has seen this series fill me in on what im missing and what i might need to watch.

Bit on the late side I am, but I think I know what you're feeling.

Sort of had no idea what was happening when I watched them as well, but the worst thing is that it made me want to see more were none existed.

What I understand so far is that the original series went slack somehow and it was not fully completed.

Then came a couple of years ago that re-make "Devilman lady" which is basically the same stories, but having female lead characters instead.
