I totally agree with you there,

But the question would be, do those who make the anime cry when they create the sad sequences?????????

Is it just business for them?????????

Or, do they put their own melancholy, saddness, problems and insecurities on the screen when they create the anime??????????

I cried at the 'end' of Ceres when you learn that things will continually go to shit, and I hopped up and down and yelled when I learned that there was only one volume of Your and My Secret by Ai Morinaga.
Now, don't feel bad. It's not you, it's me. I Don't Like You. -.-

I cried tears of rage when I saw the last episode of Berserk, not because it's sad or revolting but because THEY-STOPPED-MAKING-IT-RIGHT-IN-THE-MIDDLE-OF-THE-BEST-FREAKING-PART!!!!!!11111!!11!ONE!!11!!

Elfen Lied and Saikano are both very sad stories. They both made tears come out of my eyes.

x2

also the end of gankutsuou is pretty sad

I loved Haibane renmei's ending it worked so well with the series... It was one that made me cry as well, I couldent get enough of Haibane Renmei... The anime was incredably well thought out in the emotional impact apon the viewers.. and had an ending that made sence, and captured my mind into wanting to find out more about it... GO RADIX!!!!!!!!

Try Shuffle! the ending to it is really well done as well althouhg it's Da-Capo - like experience.

Yes I loved both of those anime, however for the ending of Elven Leid, it was sort of dishounored for the obviouseness... however, despite that, it zoomed in on the clock that had now started working again.. and Saikano was utterly weird for it's ending, however making a great overall felling towards the relationship both were feeling at the time... I kind of also wanted to see more Action scenes however much this was more of a romance... Both were verry well put together.

I second Elfen Lied. I saw it all coming, but that flashback sequence with "Lilium" playing in the background just had a unerving feel because you knew what was about to happen just when Kohta and Lucy came to terms with the events from the past.

Verry interesting idea in there Orangel, I too wonder if somehow people take there own or other instances in ordanary life and place tham into anime, just to make them more relatable to real life and therefore realistic, if so then most anime fans are watching different lives in reality but in situations controlled by the creators, and therefore we are sort of watching versions of real life as if it wee real... and so then people would want to believe more into the possibility of it being possible... I = RAMBLEING!!!! (-_-'l|)

I love Elvin Leid with a passion however... I avent been able to see it in quite some time but I know what your talking about and I loved that, It made me feel like "My Own" world was going to start colapsing nad gave me a verry emotional feeling.
