CHeck out all the Studio Ghibli films, not just the Myazaki films. As well I would suggest Akira and Stream Boy. Macross Plus Movie edition and Cowboy Bebop Knocking on Heavan's Door. Make sure you watch Ghost in the Shell if you haven't already. I haven't seen or heard too many good things about Innocence but if you are looking to kill time and continue the story you might also wanna check it out. HorridPhD also mentioned Ninja Scroll it is blood and guts start to finish but it is a pretty cool movie. Street Fighter Alpha isn't much for story and all that but if you want some cool fight scenes then giver. I have only seen one of the Ranma 1/2 films (Nihao My Concubine, the other is Big Trouble Nekeron(sp?) China) but they are fairly light hearted and fun especially if you are a fan of thes eries like me. YOu might also wanna try some short series or OVAs. The Samurai X OVA is only 4 episodes and is a great watch. FLCL is only Six episodes and is probably my favorite series. Have at er' and best of luck.

fullmetal alchemist movie was good too, even if you haven't seen the series.

X/1999 was a great movie. Amazingly detailed artwork -- looks all hand drawn. It's that classic looking goodness that I love. might confuse you a little. I can't remember if the series came out first or not, but im pretty sure the movie was made first. In any case, you don't really need the series to watch the movie -- it's good on its own.

You would have to be the first person I've ever seen talk about that movie that doesn't hate it.

[quote="Heero_Yuy84"]Some that haven't been mentioned yet

Lupin III - Castle of Cagliostro - Easily one of Miyazaki's most underrated films over here (not distributed by Disney since Monkey Punch's copyright takes precedence...but Manga's got it over here, so it's not too hard to find)
