a naruto question

does the anime follow the manga like how the manga is? Or is it like FMA where the manga and anime are completely different?

They are managed and created by different entities. The anime use to follow the manga, but at around episode 135, the anime caught up to the manga. The anime team decided to start create filler episodes (episodes which did not occur in the manga and were written by the anime team/writer).

Ever since episode 135, it has been filler epiosdes. As for the manga, Kishimoto has since finished Kakashi Gaiden and two more arcs (storylines). For now, ppl are just waiting for the anime team to start making the episodes to Kakashi Gaiden.

P.S. u know the knew game for PS2 Naruto: Kohana Spirits( i think thats what its called) is there going to be a U.S. release for it?
