Keep in mind that YuGiOh was fairly popular with teenagers from the get-go. They tried to market it as the "next Pokemon," but even THEY couldn't edit out all the gore and mayhem that made the show what it is without making it COMPLETELY nonlinear and unwatchable.

That being said, it's only reasonable that they'd release an uncut version for the older viewers, considering they made up such a large portion of the audience. Now, don't expect that from YuGiOh GX... that show was just bad in comparisson to the original even in Japan, and they got the 10-and-under target audience they wanted with that load of junk.

Delayed? Hah, they just plain trashed the project. Every time they've said to release more volumes, they haven't lived up to their word. In that one interview where they mentioned releasing One Piece, they made up all of these excuses as to why they "had" to butcher it. I'm sure we won't be seeing any uncut One Piece, as it was confirmed that 4Sight would not be taking over any projects 4Kids already had. Sadly, 4Sight would've been the one chance for uncut One Piece.

Oh well, guess I heard wrong then.

Not like it matters, MOST OP fans already have the sub DVDs anyway, and like I said. It'd still be trash with the dub VAs working on it uncut ANYWAY.

It's a damn shame to see such a good anime turned into a bad one since 4Kids intentions on a different role of entertainment and converting them into their own entertainment like, "just for kids".

I don't know about Yu-Gi-Oh or Shaman King, but I do know is that whatever they did to One Piece is completely bullshit! And they should never go beyond that to do other anime series and turning them into pathetic, pointless cheap trick of garbage like they did with One Piece.
*calming down my frustrations now...*

Or you can try going to Australia and contact Madman Entertainment Party Ltd. for the uncut One Piece DVDs.

Or even you can try asking....no Demanding Viz Media to release the uncut sub (or even re-dub perhaps) version(s) or One Piece and let them take control of that series for the rest of the audience...like us.
Either way, I don't know it will work but it's something... :?

They have released TWO uncut Yu-Gi-Oh DVDs already, and I know at least one Shaman King.

So it's not like they haven't, I see them all the time at Best Buy, I would buy them but I'm broke ;_;

Yes, but those came out in 2004. There were actually 3 Yu-Gi-Oh DVDs and 2 Shaman King ones. There hasn't been a new DVD since 2004.
