Evangelion was way too deep for me to understand the first time. I get it now but thats only the part one CAN get with anno TRYING to leave us in the dark. Stupid people that sent him death threats made him create the movie. And then we all got confused.

Anyway, back on topic...

EoE is much more understandable everytime you see it, especially if you've seen the end of the series. I'm not sure when it'll be done, but I'm working on splicing and editting the two together to make a 1h 45m to 2h re-edit that ties the two together so the ending's more understandable (the show's ending, at least after the initial scene between Shinji and Misato, takes place in Shinji's, Asuka's, Misato's, and Rei's minds, DURING the Third Impact, whereas the events of EoE are OUTSIDE of their minds in the real world... it's making it challenging as Hell).
