My favorite part was when that car went down off the cliff.
I liked those characters, and for the show to do that, so suddently had a pretty big impact on me. From that point on, basically all bets were off on who would live or die. It gave the show a sense of real drama and tension, since unlike most shows where essentially if a character has a lot of lines, they live; this one broke that mold.
The eventual ending was a bit too existential for me, but still well done nonetheless.

why is that constructive?Bleach_lover wrote:never watched it..never wanna...err..maybe....is it good?
I liked it until episode 13. After that I'd keep wishing the whole anime would just burn in the fires of Hell.
And God spoke unto the Chicken, and He said: "Thou shalt crosseth the road", and the Chicken did cross the road, and there was much rejoicing.

Well, you know they say that love and hate are two sides to the same coin. (teasing). !^_-!gepetto wrote:why is that constructive?Bleach_lover wrote:never watched it..never wanna...err..maybe....is it good?

The series was great. Great Music, great action sequences, great sad sequences, superb animation, original plot line. What's not to like!
I just hope they make other series as good as this one, as it really upped my level of expectations.

I enjoyed Wolf's Rain. It seriously dragged in parts (and I'm not even talking about the horrible recap episodes), but that slow pacing also gave the audience a real sense that all the characters were on a long and arduous journey.
My favorite part of the series was the Quent/Hubb road trip. Hilarious.
Other than the aforementioned recap episodes, my least favorite part of the series was...
WOLF'S RAIN SPOILERS BELOW!
...Darcia turning into a super-wolf at the end. Excuse me? Him turning into a wolf at all stretched believability to its limit, but you're also going to tell me that not only is he bigger and significantly stronger than all other wolves, he's also much more skilled at the wolf style of fighting after being a wolf for only a few minutes? Come on. When he took Tsume - TSUME - down almost effortlessly, I nearly threw up my hands in disgust. That was just ridiculous. I understand the need to move the plot along (which meant that all the characters had to be killed somehow), but they could have at least made it a little more realistic, with Darcia turning into just a regular wolf and having a long and hard fight with Tsume before barely overpowering him.

Same here. For those that have seen that scene, I doubt I have to explain why it's so well done. It's IMO, it's tied with the scene from Berserk where Guts loses his arm, which really says something.madbunny wrote:My favorite part was when that car went down off the cliff.
I still don't get the end; but most anime endings don't make much sense anyway, so...it should be expected, I suppose. The eventual ending was a bit too existential for me, but still well done nonetheless.
You're lucky... I've decided to let you live to see the day when I will rule the world.

devoted like a dog.
oh yes i'm a mad fan of wolf's rain!
The hole series was well put together, the atmosphere was built up extremly well to the end, however i felt like i was let down a bit, i must've been expecting a parting phrase like in cowboy bebop. None-the-less its be very re-watched!! I hope like hell theres a movie. I don't know if i'd want to see a sequal though, as much as i love it.
