im putting this up to bring attention in general th the anime dragon drive. its available on dvd in english from dvdstars.com and i think its grossly overlooked.
Anime that make it to brit and american tv are the ones that end up with 1000's of AMVs, i think DragonDrive should have been 1 of these anime,
Reply to this if you agree or have any anime u think should be better recognised by AMV creators and have more AMVs of them made

Yes, Dragon Drive is overlooked for a few reasons. It was scaecly advertised, and the dub is rated ages 7+. It's a good anime, I have all of the DVDs for it. It was a fun series, though thee are a few things that could've been better. Maybe there should be more AMVs for it, but it's just not popular enough to reach the amount of AMVs that many others have.

Think of it this way, some people say Dragonball Z and Naruto are good animes. In turn there are THOUSANDS of AMVs for each. With that much, and most being medeocre at best, many on this site love to hate the series. So I think you guys would perfer the following equations
few good videos = good
many bad videos = bad
such that
few videos > many videos
few good videos = good
many bad videos = bad
such that
few videos > many videos

Hm...I agree. When there's like thousands of AMVs for one anime, many AMVs tend to be overlooked. And, to some people, having to scroll down for ages and ages to see which one suits them more or which one they want to download...can drive someone crazy, which in turn makes me hate the anime (even though the anime itself may be good). I recong if there's less AMVs for an anime than people will like it more and will treasure the AMVs. Which in turn could make people want to watch the anime to find out what it actually is (a very good thing even for an anime that might not be as good...not talking about DragonDrive, people. Other anime, other anime...). That's how I look at it.Krisqo wrote:Think of it this way, some people say Dragonball Z and Naruto are good animes. In turn there are THOUSANDS of AMVs for each.
