Anyone else catch what they did to Crayon Shin Chan on AS?

Saturday night (8/19) they aired a (from what I understand) rescripted dub of Crayon Shin Chan on Adult Swim that was far more mature than the origional - so much so they had to use censor bleeps and what they didn't censor was pretty damn funny.

Anyone else catch this? Impressions? Comparisons to the origional?

I thought so, something about it seemed familiar. As for the show itself, it is pretty damn funny.

I thought I going crazy for a second... nobody I talked to had seen it. Guess people have better things to do than edit and watch TV on Saturday nights.

Rescripted dub? Guess AS learned their lesson from what happened with Super Milk-Chan (the DVDs have an alternate American script written for the show which was actually pretty funny (and a LOT more up AS's alley, frankly...was surprised when I learned they were going with the more esoteric Japanese script.))

My 11 year old brother and his friend watched it and they seemed to enjoy it more than I did.

It's a sweet show, especially with the new script. Kinda figured it had to be a new script based on the subject matter in it. Funny stuff!
