yeah i just dont get it. why are ppl soo crazy about it. lik my two friends cant get enough of it. lik they downloaded the whole serise allready. and they collect all the little actions figures too. i mean its ok i think. maybe i should watch it a little more??

okay, i see what you're saying, but no, it's not all about the minority
i agree that in general, the majority rules but is ultimately retarded because it goes with what's popular or easiest
but it's NOT always the minority that's right, it's not as easy as black and white because for all YOU know, the majority could be naruto-fan-boys like we all know, but the minority could be naruto-cosplay-sex-addicts...
so don't assume the minority is what you think it is

on top of that, saying naruto fans don't recognize quality is a very ignorant and arrogant statement, i'll just say that and let you figure out for yourself where you're going with that statement, and try not to generalize in your answer and assume everyone is part of the majority

i disagree with whoever says the naruto is a copy of dbz............... i mean i ToTally disagree....... common guys! whats the similarity? NOThing! absolutely no similarity! dbz talks about the life of a sayajin called goku, and how he and the earth special forces manage to save the earth, while naruto talks about this kid named naruto who wants to be acknowledged and wants to be the leader of his country! i mean whats the similarity between ninja and sayajin? eh? common guys get real! i love dbz, and i love naruto, dbz has loads of action and naruto is kinda funny and dramatic.
Yes there are alot of fillers, in order to avoid that go read the manga. Fillers start exactly after episode 136 or 135 i cant really remember which one, but to be honest...........naruto manga is way too better than dbz manga.

:lol: I have to agree as well (and I am a huge fan of DBZ) Naruto isn't a copy of Dragonball Z--the two shows are about two totaly different characters and their past. I've seen some episodes of Naruto (I'm 16...so I guess whoever likes a show likes a show no matter what age) and it IS NOT a copy of DBZ. I wasn't too impressed with Naruto, but whatever. I won't argue with the people who like it--we have our own taste buds, right? Right. But :lol: I'm not sure if Naruto is better than DBZ I mean come on...No one is hotter than Trunks and Vegeta, right? 8-) They be steamin' and cool. Vegeta's past is pretty intense too. And when he has a son? Man, that's when the show starts to get really interesting.

Too, I have to admit this. Some sagas in DBZ were annoyingly, irritatingly, hit-the-tv--as-hard-as-I-can dumb and the some plots were weak. Like the Freiza saga where most of the episodes were just of Goku and Freiza staring at each other and then the screen zooms up on some rocks on the planet while the planet itself is going to explode in "five minutes"--and six or seven episodes were wasted on that and then BAM! Someone finally says something. Although, I think every show has some weak points of their own. The saiyan saga too (the drawings were TERRIBLE!). Out of both of them, there was really only one good episode. The two sagas that were the strongest in story line and were really interesting were the Android and Cel saga. Esp. the uncut version (which really gives the show a helpful boost and man, some of the uncut episodes that were taken out of the show were really good) :shock: Those were [i]dwamatic![/i]

Let's not turn this too much into a DBZ vs Naruto thread. When so many DBZ fans come around and try to defend Naruto saying it's not DBZ (knowing a lot of people say DBZ sucks and is like Naruto) they try to say the show doesn't suck because it's not like DBZ.

To me they don't feel the same and are different in a lot of ways, but when DBZ fans come and flood the Naruto topics people get the impression it's like it because it seems to attract a lot of DBZ fans. I know a huge amount of folks that hate DBZ and love Naruto. One being my brother. I use to watch DBZ all the time in front of him and since there was nothing else to watch he ended up watching it with me. He hates it and loves Naruto and that says something. I though now sort of hate DBZ mainly because some of the most annoying people I've met in my life are huge DBZ fans.. sad but true. When I watch that show it reminds me of all the dumb asses that spent a lot of time expressing there love for it. so I look at it like michele jackson.. Even though the guy has nice music I can't help but to think of that ugly ass when listening to his music and with dbz it reminds me of all the dumb asses that watch it. So even though I have respect for the two man do I have a lot of hate for them. No point in what I wrote mainly just rambling nonsense and some things I've noticed with DBZers and such. I was going to be one of those people who show there love for DBZ but the community scared me away, so I can't help but think the show suxors in a way that it attracts dumbasses.. please some of you fuck tards jump in front of a moving vehicle.

Not talking about people here just some people I've met that watch the show. Naruto though I always meet a lot of cool people that watch the show. I don't think respect will ever drop because things outside the quality of the show scare me off.
