Ergo Proxy anyone ?

Hi guys.
A newbie here.
I'm looking for an anime sseries in the style of Ergo Proxy. By style I mean a drawing style... It's like totally different from "normal anime" drawing style... The characters look so real. I love it. Are there any other anime series in that style ? Except Witch Hunter Robin because that one I know.

For those that haven't seen Ergo Proxy, could you describe this "style" a bit more clearly?

Ergo Style. Your best bet would be to look into who made it and then identify other series by the same group. I HIGHLY doubt the makers of ergo proxy are making their first anime. And for Rich.

God... Thanks Orwell... I did a small research (Anime-Kraze) and I found entire pack of series in that style. I'm gonna dig in.

About the cartoon - It took me a second but when I got it... I couldn't stop laughing my head off.

I believe I'll need to look into this... If only to see if that comic strip Orwell posted is true to life.

Actually the makers of ergo proxy have also included in their littl production group some of makers of cowboy bebop and samurai champloo.

But if your looking for that particular style I hate to be redundant but GITS is very similar in feel. They both have very realistic but somewhat fantastical styles to them.

it may sound funny because I consider myself a fun of anime but I haven't seen Cowboy Bebop or samurai champloo yet... I've heard so much about them but never watched them...

I agree with older_gohan that GITS and EP have very similar feel... Isn't that what make them so special ? It's like they stay with you in your mind for a loong time.

You know they are not real but the feeling stays.

I got into the series cause I heard rumors the main character is modeled after Amy Lee of Evanescence. I've heard many of Evenescence fans comment about her looking similar to Amy Lee a few years ago.

Most of the characters in Ergo Proxy are dead-ringers for the ones in Witch Hunter Robin. Seriously.
