The manga is still being drawn, isn't it? Is there a 32nd volume? Is Miura Kentarou still creating it? I haven't heard of anything new lately, which led me to some worries... Have you heard of something?

Btw, I think there was an appearance of Caska's child at an apparent age of about 10 years. It was on a beach, when Gatts' group was attacked by some monsters, and if I remember correctly, the child kinda repelled the monsters, after which it disappeared... Ahhh, sweet memories...

This show looks interesting too ^_^

Thats the dreamcast version. I don't know if the playstation version was different from this one or not.

Well from my understanding of it. the Dreamcast version follows the TV series. Then the PS2 version follows the Manga series. But i'm from american and they don't make dreamcast anymore so thats out of the question. Plus i don't think they ever released it to the US because if they did i would check it out.

But on the manga the fatherest i saw was volume 32. Which it ended with some big ass demon with wings and i think Guts ontop of him thrusting his sword down ontop of his head, Then thats the end from what i saw. So is there more to it or something?

i know the dreamcast vrsion takes place afterwards because
1. caska's hair is long
2. he's using the dragon slayer sword, fake arm, missing eye

One thing I'd actually like to know: Does the scene where Grif kills the whole Band of the Hawk and rapes whatsername in front of Guts (who is being held by monsters) actually take place in the anime? I'd like to know for an AMV I've got a'brewin' in the back of my head, but I'm not gonna shell out cash for the DVDs only to find out that it's not even in there.

I'll take even a watered-down version of the scene. ^^; It would be too perfect...

griffith does not kill anyone in the band of hawk - i believe the same is for the manga.
