REAL real life. Two months after I watched the bloody thing, my girlfried, who was in Canada as an exchange student, was hit by an SUV and slipped into a coma. Luckily, she woke up after three months, but she limps now and I'm scared to death of that horrible horrible anime.Eva-Fan wrote:The only anime that really ever succeeded in killing me on the inside and jerking out a few tears at times was Kimi Ga Nozomu Eien. Simply because that show has a few real life lessons in it and the story line is a real life possibility. The show has way too much drama in it and at times it overloads you, which made me sad. Other then that I've never seen an anime that had a huge impact on me emotionally. That one though just had all the right things going for it and is probably the best drama anime I ever seen.
have you ever cried after watching an anime ? ***SPOILERS***

Hm...where to begin...
I'm pretty emotional, and I cry over almost anything heartwrenching so..here goes...
1. Kaji from Neon Genesis Evangelion. My eyes felt so heavy after that one scene, and then it made it even worse when I saw Misato sobbing over the phone message.
2. Kaworu from Neon Genesis Evangelion. I felt so bad for him, but even worse for Shinji, because he lost right before is eyes what he wanted most; companionship.
3. Misato in End of Evangelion. Misato is my favorite character in Eva, and after she gave such a dramatic speech, and just collasped, I felt so depressed.
4. The last two episodes of Cowboy Bebop. Enough said. ><I><;)

Blah...sorry for the double post...but something got messed up...
5. Grave of the Fireflies-I just saw that on Sunday night, and right when the movie was starting, I saw the two main characters in the field of fireflies and I just sobbed.
6. Samurai X Reflections...god...I felt so sad by the end of it, but also felt a bit of relief, knowing that Kenshin's suffering had finally stopped.
7. Earthian. The last OVA ep got me because damn...forget his name...but the Angel that was created didn't deserve the fate that he received.
8.Chobits. The last episode got me, but not as much as the manga version did, (that thing just tore me to shreads). I just wanted the best of Chii and Hideki; that's all!
9. Ghost in the Shell, (original movie). The part where Motoko got the tar beat out of her really got me. (probably because I have an obsession with her, but, that's besides the point ><;)

1) Grave of the Fireflies.
I was depressed for 2 weeks after watching that. Held back tears for most of the film, and I'm male.
2) One Piece Uncut Version (not the 4kids dub)
End of the Arabasta Arc where Luffy sends Crocodile flying and "New World Symphony" by Dvorak is playing in the background. The ending was so operatic that I cried tears of joy.
3) Cowboy Bebop
Last ep. Yea, enough said.
