I've only cried a couple of times during an anime, but mainly only when my fav character would get really badly hurt. :(
History is like an Endless Waltz. The three beats of War,Peace and Revolution continue on forever.

I cried A few times in FMA i think you all know the parts. And Elfen lied is the most emotional piece of art iv'e ever laid eyes upon. Oh and in Naruto the whole Zabuza Haku thing. I think anime charactors are more real then the charactors you see on american TV shows, the only exeption being lost. Oh and im a strange dude i involuntarily tear when i see something amazing. like the first time i saw the spiderman trailer or the LOTR trailer, Oh and the Kill
bill trailer. the most tear inducing AMV is Sasuke must die. I think its the music that gets me.

I cried when Fruits Basket anime ended b/c i really had to read the manga! :D

Ok, well seriously, I haven't really cried at the end of an anime before,, I just don't get too emotional about that stuff. But a couple times, while watching AMVs for Fruits Basket or Final Fantasy the song really brings out the story well, so I get teary eyed.

I think I came close with wolve's rain. no anime other than that. Manga is a different story. (Between my sister and me, we've got like 7 animes and 150+ manga) I cried at a certain point during Maison Ikkoku, not because I was sad, but because it was so beautiful.
meh...

Neon Genesis Evangelion for lots of reasons, First i mean come on its a terribly sad anime where pretty much everyone you like dies. Second, It was truly the best anime series of all times and knowing that its over and you won't see another really gets to you. Ohh and when misato dies after kissing shinji and making him go save the world i was dehydrated from all the tears. *sigh* can't wait till those 4 new movies they are coming out with!@
