Along with anime and frolf and sports and a bunch of other time wasters, one of my many hobbies is collecting small plastic figurines.
Can anyone tell me some websites/stores where I might find new anime figurines (not used/sold by individuals)? I'm specifically looking for figures that are small (2-4 inches), and made of pvc or similar materials, such as the types of figurines included in McDonalds Happy Meals. I'm actually interested in most any cartoon/comic character figurines of this type, but anime figures would be more appealing.
Ideally, the figures would not be on a base, and I am also interested in keychains that are figures (as compared to flat keychains). I've linked to an example here (dbz).
Again, not interested in used lots or collectors (who charge $5+ per figurine), but rather small (cheap) packs or even wholesale places where you have to buy by the dozen. My price range would be around $1/figurine, unless it's just perfect.
I've looked all over the net, but sadly, it is very hard to search for figurines this small instead of full size figures because the quotation mark is used by search engines for specificity and not recognized as "inches". The best I can find is the occasional pack of Bleach figurines or Simpsons figurines labeled as anime. I keep hoping to find some site where I can pick and choose dozens of figurines like some kind of online Chuck E. Cheese prize counter.
