Is this anime movie worth something [Fullmetal Alchemist]
I wondered if Fullmetal Alchemist The movie is a good movie?
Because i have seen before that movies made after series are bad, like The vision of Escaflowne, it's a great series but the movie is not worth SHIT!

I find it kind of funny, i find it kind of sad, the dream in which i'm dying is the best i ever had...

The movie is the "Happy Ending" version for people who didn't like the depressing finale of the series (even though it was obvious that it wouldn't end cheerful by episode 12), but it has some good animation and story-wise it's good closure for Envy, Gluttony and the Hohenheim - Aspects of the wrap-up that went missing in the series.
And God spoke unto the Chicken, and He said: "Thou shalt crosseth the road", and the Chicken did cross the road, and there was much rejoicing.

Well, it's happy compared to the series end.aesling wrote:I wouldn't exactly call this the "Happy Ending" versionGepetto wrote:The movie is the "Happy Ending" version for people who didn't like the depressing finale of the series (even though it was obvious that it wouldn't end cheerful by episode 12), but it has some good animation and story-wise it's good closure for Envy, Gluttony and the Hohenheim - Aspects of the wrap-up that went missing in the series.
Movie Spoilers wrote:In the end, the brothers are together and with their full bodies, which is what they always wanted. They are in a different universe, but they never once said "we want to get our bodies back without being thrown across the otherworldly gate into nazi Germany" so it isn't really a big problem
