Ok, perusing this thread, between your rant and your sig, this appears to be a pissing contest to see who is the superior race. Which seems quite WWII Germany. . .or Cold War. . .or US politics on a normal day. Which if this does not become more than that within a few posts, I can see this being locked very soon. here's some problems with being overly nationalistic.

Do you realize Asians are also the ones that flew some Boeing 747s into the World Trade Center?

China is no better than any other country at making clothes or small plastic statues or anything else America Imponrts En Mass from them, they just do it for the lowest possible price due to very inhumane and lax working conditions, and slave labour. This is also the reason most animation is made in Korea.

If we are talking "anime Superiority" And Not "race Superiority" the first anime was heavily influenced by Disney animation, the techniques and structures he used. As for popularity, I believe Finding Nemo, a film by the American Company Pixar broke records in animation.

However I want to make one point clear.

I AM NOT CLAIMING SUPERIORITY OF ONE THING OVER ANOTHER.

There is good and shit examples of all forms of media, and everything else for that matter, much of which is largely subjective, despite is country of origin.

Also am i not saying other races have not done anything as bad as the asians. The history of every Race is just as guilty as any other. But mindless allegiance to the belief of nationalism or race superiority is what causes shit like genocide to happen in the first place.

I've always wished that there would be an anime company like Disney because their animation is very fluid throughout their shows/movies. I can't really say I'm more impressed with japan in that aspect, they are actually pretty pathetic in that aspect. Maybe they have certain companies there that always release very smooth frame rate features, but nothing out does the production value of Disney.

How is that for generalizing?

Anyway, please enjoy your stay. There a lot of helpful people here and I'm sure there are things you could do to make you feel more welcomed. You're off to a bad start though, I was too.. but now this is one of my favorite forums.

I love Anime and the reason is because Anime are more realistic than cartoon, the Anime chacraters [ Anime girls ] also the only one that can charm me with their cuteness. adorableness, beautifulness and many other reason that makes me charmed by them aswell as to the Anime. (blah blah blah. I'm just gonna cut out all the engrish crap here)

Man do you have the wrong website. We all hate anime here. Nothing but a bunch of semi-naked pre-teen girls because somewhere, somehow, some moron realized that they'd get arrested for going to a grade school and wacking off in the playground but that it's perfectly legal to wack off to drawings of little girls. I never understood why the japanese are so damned obsessed with banging 8 year olds, although I suppose it is helping keep population growth figures in check. Maybe the problem is asian women have no chest. Little kids that are flatter than a donut Rosie O'Donnell sat on remind asian men of their mothers. Except without the facial hair of course. As an added bonus for asian men, here in America women realize they're equal to men so they have a nasty habit of standing up for themselves and not being a little bitch. Eight year olds tend to just do what they're told with none of that backtalk shit or running away to file rape charges or anything. Plus given that statistically speaking asian men are so much smaller than caucasians they need a younger, smaller, female to match their dick size. Now that I think about it the asian obsession of molesting preteens makes sense. Still a fucking sick ass hobby though. We don't want none of your pedophilia loving crap here, go find some site that likes your little rape cartoons instead.

Besides, everyone knows there is no such thing as Asian pride. Every Asian person I know describes themselves as Chinese, or Japanese, or Korean, or Thai, etc, etc. Not to mention technically even Indians and Pakastanis have a claim to the Asian title.

I was gonna say. I've never intentionally been at a sci-fi/comic convention, but damn... have I ever seen more clingons/batmans/darth vaders than anime cosplayers
