The game Tsukihime has a pretty awesome storyline, and I know that there's an anime based on it called Shingetsutan Tsukihime (or Lunar Legend Tsukihime). If it's one tenth as good as the game, it's worth it (although it's probably just the Arcueid storyline... sigh)
And God spoke unto the Chicken, and He said: "Thou shalt crosseth the road", and the Chicken did cross the road, and there was much rejoicing.

Well you don't seem to be a big robots/mech lover (I'm not really familliar with alot but) so Zoids is out of the question, but Azumanga Daioh is great!! Funny and random at times!! close second favorite anime of mine!!
Hmmm. If I was forced to choose between Zoids & Azumanga..... I'd choose (ummm) "&"!!! ^_^

Hmm, is that list you had in your first post the anime you already have watched?
Anyway, I agree that Kodocha would be really good. I've read the manga, not the anime, but if they stuck to the original story at all it should be really good.
Detective Conan/Case Closed is another good one. It's got comedy, drama, and mystery.
Other than that... I'm afraid I don't go much into school dramas. I've read some, but I don't know how many of them have been made into anime. (Ultra Maniac was a very cute, if all to short, manga series.)

I am a rabid Inuyasha fangirl! Fear me!
