OVA just sounds better than OAV... I didn't know what either meant until I read this thread, man I have a lot to learn about you people and most anime...

I think it's all relative. I learned it as OAV first and therefore, OAV seems more natural than OVA. In fact OVA is harder for me to say, but that's because I used OAV long before OVA. So... I prefer OAV over OVA. They both mean the same thing, and people will understand what you mean with either one so I say... meh.Daio Kaji wrote: ye, i've always called it OVA too
