*shudder*

Having to analyse that book for GCSE English ruined it for me forever.

Don't cry! They will more than likely show it again. I didn't see the whole thing either. :(

Great book. I loved it.

Not related, but notice some of the similarities in Lord of the Flies and the Japanese movie "Battle Royale?" Given the premise of both is different (i.e. one is about children becoming like our society..loss of innocence and the other is about how far friendship can go), but I still find it similar...

Wow that was off-topic.

I hate to see this considering the current topic of conversation over in the 'anime dads/fathers' thread regarding your predictability, but I guessed both that you'd voice your support for LotF, and that someone'd bring up the Battle Royale reference.

However, on a more serious note (C#, for instance), I do recognise the BR/LotF similarities. Both are about the basic nature of man- the destructive, violent side suppresed by society.

You know how much I hate j00?

Almost there...;)

So basically if someone mentions LotF it will degrade to Battle Royale conversation? Interesting theory...well it's the first time I've mentioned the similarities...maybe I missed the last time :(.

Noooooo! Please don't hate me! I *like* you! Honest ;)

No, I don't think anyone's mentioned it before, but it was kind of floating around as a thought at the back of my mind as a kind of loose concept, and I thought that, considering the demographic here, someone would mention it.

There still is Inu Yasha :) But That Would Be Kinda Cool If They Put Some More Anime Shows Something Like TV Tokyo  Because Today More and More People Are Getting Into Anime Because The Shows Have Actual Story Lines Unlike The Cartoons Today If U Get The Idea  But The Sad Thing About Is That I Didn't Really Get To See The Shows Anyway :? But Thats All I To Say If U Have A Say So Reply Back If Then Go Screw A Chicken :D

Honestly I don't find Trigun to have much reviewability. I was rather disappointed with it's ending and the animation didn't impress me any. It was good while it lasted.

And wtf is up with Adult Swim mentioning FLCL (Fooly Cooly)? Something makes me want see them show it on adult swim...but something else screams no.... if Anime Unleashed were to pick it up that'd be nice, but I'll have to settle with SoulTaker starting on the 26th (when they finish their second run with Betterman which is a good series but god is it slow)

One thing that might put them off is that it's a six episode series. I like it, but it really doesn't strike me as something for a network in America to buy.

I have hope that they will bring back Trigun at least. I just cant seem to get an interest in Reign or Lupin either. I also have hope that my cable provider will get off its ass and provide this area with the anime network. Alas but I can only Dream....... :(
